The Platinum Jubilee Pageant marked a once-in-a-generation national celebration, honouring the extraordinary 70-year reign of Queen Elizabeth II and her enduring influence on Britain and the Commonwealth. Conceived as the pinnacle of the Jubilee weekend, the pageant brought together history, culture and community in a spectacular tribute to a monarch whose steadfast leadership spanned decades of immense social and technological change. Through moments of reflection and celebration, the event captured the spirit of a reign defined by duty, resilience and an unwavering commitment to public service.
To commemorate this historic occasion, St James’s House partnered with the organisers of the Platinum Jubilee Pageant to produce Her Majesty the Queen: The Official Platinum Jubilee Pageant Commemorative Album, the only official publication produced for the event. Launched in the elegant art deco surroundings of Claridge’s ballroom, the book was unveiled before more than 450 distinguished guests during an evening that combined live screenings of the Jubilee celebrations with insightful discussions from royal authors Robert Jobson and Katie Nicholl, alongside contributor Tom Parker Bowles, Queen Camilla’s son. The occasion reflected both the grandeur of the celebrations and the warmth of national appreciation for Queen Elizabeth’s service.
Beautifully produced as a premium hardback edition, the commemorative album features more than 200 photographs charting Elizabeth’s remarkable journey, from her childhood and wartime service to her role as a modernising and unifying figure on the world stage. Expert editorial explores the defining moments of her reign, the evolution of the monarchy and the creation of the Platinum Jubilee Pageant itself, including its ambitious artistic vision and nationwide outreach programmes. Combining historical insight with striking imagery and exclusive commentary, the publication stands as a lasting tribute to one of the most significant royal milestones in British history.
